Stunning Dutch Colonial Revival home on an oversized lot featuring a classic floor plan with generous garden and located in a revered and tranquil pocket of NOPA.

Detached on 3 sides, this 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom architectural gem presents 3452 square feet of living space over 3 levels, including 4 handsome fireplaces with Clinker brickwork, artisanal-crafted wooden staircase and panelling, attractive stained glass, exceptional molding, multiple skylights and pocket doors.

The main level offers scale and beauty with exposed wood beam ceilings in the generous landing, formal living room, and formal dining room. This level also contains a light filled conservatory with glass walls/ceiling, large kitchen, half bathroom and garden access.

The upper level features a renovated primary suite (2014) with a small balcony and sweeping views of Golden Gate Panhandle, Buena Vista Park and Sutro Tower, and an additional 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The ground floor includes a formal entry, entrance to 2 car garage, garden access, and a bedroom and bathroom which function well as separate guest quarters. The vast backyard is accented by stone terraces and large flat patio with a gas line and a dedicated 220V outlet.

This home has undergone significant foundation work, including steel moment frames, anchor bolts, new concrete, and post bracing (2011). The 200-amp electrical upgrade enhances the home's modern functionality (2010).

This centrally located home is a few short blocks to cafes, restaurants, markets, and Golden Gate Park and near the following schools: NOPA Montessori, Pacific Primary, San Francisco Day School, Lycèe Français, New Traditions Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, Urban High School. The nearby Panhandle Playground is popular with families.

Options abound to maximize the incredible potential of this 1914 treasure.

2076 Grove Street

The North of Panhandle area, or Nopa, is rapidly becoming one of the city's most in-demand neighborhoods. Situated just north of Golden Gate Park's Panhandle, and abutted by the Divisadero corridor, you'll always feel there's something to do, and within walking distance! Here you'll feel central to everything, with easy freeway access via Fell and Oak streets, several Muni lines at your doorstep, and very easily navigable bicycle routes. And yet, the nearby green spaces imbue the entire area with a low key, peaceful air.

Services and entertainment are easily accessed, making car-free living a very appealing lifestyle choice. In addition to Divisadero's many trendy cafes, clubs and shops, you can do your grocery shopping at the Lucky Center on Fulton, and hit up Broderick Place for speciality deli goods. Homes near the Panhandle are exceptionally desirable. There are also multi-unit apartment buildings and condos for the investment buyer. It's also a great spot to bike, shoot hoops or just chill out by the bandstand. Young professionals and students, families, and long-time residents fill up Nopa's many Victorian and Edwardian single family homes and multi-unit buildings.

There are plenty of opportunities to meet your neighbors, be it at Sunday's Divisadero Farmer's Market or the bi-monthly Divisadero Art Walk. The North of Panhandle Neighborhood Association does a wonderful job of organizing events and keeping everyone informed of neighborhood news. The neighborhood even has its own parents' group.
